WooCommerceReports in Slack
You want to check your sales figures without logging into the backend of your store? No problem - Ian Poulson from Delicious Brains shows you step by step how to create your own Slack app that gives you reports for different time periods with a simple Slack command like "/woo month" WooCommerce.

Less waste at WCEU
The organizers of WordCamp Europe have teamed up with Zero Waste e.V. to reduce the waste generated during the event. We also pay strong attention to sustainability, e.g. in the form of green electricity, compensation payments for our CO2 emissions, environmentally friendly giveaways, recyclable materials and avoiding waste. As a sponsor of the WCEU, we are thus very pleased with these efforts.

GutenbergCreate blocks without JS
Birgit Pauli-Haack from Gutenberg Times tests three plugins that allow you to create your own Gutenberg block for your individual needs without JavaScript. As a test case, she creates a "team block" with each of the plugins, which displays photos and contact details of people and can thus be used for a company page, for example. You can read the conclusion of her test here.

Real-life colors
Coming up with beautiful color palettes is not that easy. A British agency had a creative idea for this: the Found Color project publishes photos whose motif shows an interesting color combination - including the corresponding color codes. The result is an archive of great color combinations that were neither generated by algorithms nor based on classic rules of color theory.
