  Probably the most important innovation is the significant performance boost for all Mini, Starter, Fully Managed and Pro boxes, which have double the resources available on the new servers. Dedicated vCores are available from Pro XL upwards.

  With the customised virtualisation environment and the addition of RAM, your website will definitely have enough computing power available. In addition, the PHP memory limit is increased so that your scripts do not abort or cannot be fully executed due to insufficient memory.

• Advanced Caching on Varnish Basis (new)

  Our Varnish-based advanced caching allows you to selectively empty your website’s cache on a page-by-page basis. This is particularly important for large magazines and WooCommerce shops, as the cache of the rest of the website remains untouched and your pages continue to be delivered at lightning speed.

• Container architecture: Independent system per service (new)

  Thanks to the new container architecture, each service (web server, database, Varnish, etc.) is now an isolated, independent system with its own resources. This separation enables improved resource utilisation, easier maintenance and better fault isolation. In addition, each service can be scaled and managed independently, which improves flexibility, resilience and scalability.

• No more shared resources for live site & staging (new)

  On Raidboxes 2.0, staging and the live website no longer share computing power. Thanks to the staging environment’s own resources (CPU, RAM, SSD etc.), the loading time and performance of your live website are no longer affected by staging. At the same time, staging works in the same way as with Raidboxes and allows you to push your changes live with a single click.

• Handle short traffic peaks with Performance Burst (new)

  Whether it’s a rush of visitors from newsletters, TV adverts, bot traffic or plugin processes: our server monitoring automatically recognises when your website needs more power and allocates more resources at lightning speed (in Fully Managed + Pro plans). This cushions the effect of short-term load peaks.

• Dedicated CPU (new)

  With dedicated hardware/CPU cores, you benefit from maximum performance with our high-traffic tariffs (from Pro XL), as the cores are exclusively available to you. This means no shared resources and full computing power at all times – regardless of whether you use them fully or not.
