Last week, security vendor Wordfence released its monthly WordPress Attack Report for October, showing that the number of attacks has decreased significantly. Furthermore, ticket sales for WordCamp Europe 2018 have started. After the WordCamp Europe in Paris in summer, we are finally going to another WordCamp. This time in Cologne. Barcamp style. The market for WP products is oversaturated

Fewer attacks on WP sites in October
According to the latest Wordfence security report, there were an average of 3.6 million daily "complex attacks" on WordPress sites . This is 23 percent less than in September. Brute Force attacks also show a pleasing trend, as the daily attack volume in October was on average 9 percentage points below the values of the previous month.
