After a great WordCamp Europe in Berlin, we not only have our WCEU review, but also more news for you: Matt Mullenweg answered the WCEU participants' questions in his keynote and Gutenberg 6.0 brings new features to the editor. With over 3,260 tickets sold, this year's WCEU was not only one of the biggest WordCamps in Europe, but the biggest ever. Berlin attracted both old WCEU hands and new participants from all over the world. 97 different nations were represented. Despite the size, the familiar class trip atmosphere typical of WordCamps prevailed. The weekend showed again: WordPress and its community are colorful, open and future-oriented.

Matt Mullenweg's WCEU Summer Update
One of the highlights of WCEU 2019 in Berlin was of course WP co-founder Matt Mullenweg's keynote. In his summer update, he mainly talked about the progress of the Gutenberg editor and introduced future features. Gutenberg 6.0 brings column layouts
The update to Gutenberg 6.0 brings some column block improvements to the editor. Users can now choose from a number of predefined Column layouts. You can also change the width of the column in the block's settings and customize the layout to suit your needs.
