As managing director at Raidboxes, Johannes was responsible for human resources and finance until his departure in November 2025. He had been closely associated with WordPress since 2012. He was considered an advocate of holacracy and the economy for the common good. Christian Klapka has been managing director of Raidboxes since the end of 2025. He took over from founders Johannes Benz and Torben Simon Meier, who handed over the company after ten years.
